Chad Soviet anthem vs virgin US anthem.

You listen to Soviet music, see their foundational slogans (and the English translations of each of them) and it's difficult to not feel a sense of total loss of empathy based culture on the world scale. The collapse of the Soviet Union created a globalized cultural product that is devoid of all common humanity. Ugh 😩

United forever in friendship and labor Our mighty Republics will ever endure The Great Soviet Union Will live through the ages The dream of a people Their fortress secure

[Chorus] Long live our Soviet Motherland Built by the people's mighty hand Long live her people united and free Strong in a friendship tried by fire Long may her crimson flag inspire Shining in glory for all men to see

Through days dark and stormy When great Lenin led us Our eyes saw the bright sun of Freedom above And Stalin our leader With faith in the people Inspired us to build the land that we love

[Chorus] We fought for the future Destroyed the invader And brought to our homeland The laurels of fame A glory will live in the memory of nations And all generations will honor her name

[Chorus] Long live our Soviet Motherland Built by the people's mighty hand Long live her people united and free Strong in a friendship tried by fire Long may her crimson flag inspire Shining in glory for all men to see

I read this as "End of Days" and thought it was supposed to be like a nuclear annihilation broadcast. Those are very eerie.
