  • For, what it's worth, hickock45 and his son have stopped promoting the NRA due to his unequivocally corrupt the org is. Still probably lifetime members unless they revoke, which is just giving up benefits but shrug still good vibes in the vids other than older NRA proselytizing.

Jerry Miculek is in a similar vein, though he just uploaded a politics vid that was really frustrating. Other than that he's been very easy to watch.

Garand Thumb hasn't been especially egregious, at least in the videos I've seen. I just avoid videos where he has other folks on, he's definitely connected with some people hungry to murder political opponents. Worst he brings to his videos, in my experience, has been typical ableist language. Definitely a focus on military ish gear and tacticool, though. Intros put me off more than anything, feels like movie larping with how dramatic the music is.

Lucky Gunner Ammo I've seen less of, and they made some riot comments in a video I didn't like, but typically the vids are pretty topic focused and less politicized.

As has been said, inrange tv and forgotten weapons are good, probably more anarchist than leftist really, but still good.

Beau of the fifth Column is less on guns and technical information, but there's some. He's popular among leftists and uses his background and image to kinda pull in and dechud some folks. Definitely big anarchist, not explicitly so leftist. Check out his guns and gun control playlist.

Edit: assume others, I haven't watched them that much so I dunno how shitty they are:

Gavintoobe (ultimate reloader) seems good for reloading ammo content.

Active Self Protection seems to be analyzing self defense videos.

Vickers Tactical has lots of good info, hasn't been too bad so far

22plinkster has been okay, 22s are fun.

Paul Harrell and kitbadger were each recommend to me, haven't checked them out much yet.

My college experience was defined by Friday nights playing Magic, D&D, or World of Darkness at the gaming club then going for drinks and half off apps at Applebee's. It has its place... Though I'll never forgive them getting rid of the steak quesadilla towers.
