But and more constructively, was all of the preamble/framing text helpful or should I have cut quicker to the exercises?
Yeah, I think all of that was helpful. I think a lot of people probably don't want to actually write the stuff out, but they'll likely read it and self reflect.
I'm like this myself, so I actually found the reading and presence of other people to chat with more helpful than the actual journalling exercises.
