Even if violence is happening, unless you were there when it happened I think there's a good chance you'd never hear about it. I'm pretty sure corporate media is under strict orders to downplay anything remotely violent. Independent journalist collectives, like Unicorn Riot, have been all but shut down. Sure, if someone managed to take out a SC justice we would hear about it, but the likelihood of that happening is effectively zero. The police state and corporate control over media is just too strong right now. Additionally, there isn’t enough economic misery, yet, for people to get sufficiently agitated to the point they're willing to rush a line of cops in riot gear. There are also still far too many people who still have faith in institutions and reformism. When it comes to people like you, me, and many of the users here, we are smart enough to know all this. I'd have no problem taking lives or giving up mine if i thought there was any chance of success, there just isn't. Unfortunately, our best hope for the future is declining material and social conditions and the complete collapse of political institutions. Those things are definitely just on the horizon, though.
