    i can't remember where i read it or heard it, but some old Journalism Ethical Standard™ i was looking at claimed that the practice of printing/using pictures of people with their mouths open while talking was "discouraged" because they make the subject look off-putting, since the frozen moment makes it seem like they are holding their mouth open like a crazy person or a fool.

    anyway, ever since reading that, i notice it now and it never fails to crack me up because it's always true. it's also doubly hilarious when they do it to someone who deserves it anyway, like this shit wizard.
