I'm looking for a new laptop for work and realised that all the programs I use also run on Mac OS. I can't find a windows laptop (within the same price range) that is as thin/light, with such good battery life.
Only problem is that everytime I've had to use Mac OS on someone else's computer, I've hated it.
I was surprised when I find out how many engineers use a MacBook with :tux: installed since Apple hardware is generally solid. Sounds like you have some software requirements that might make that tricky though
That may have been badly worded on my part. I mostly just use Firefox and MS office. Lack of office compatibility is a huge factor preventing me from going Linux though
Yup I use Linux at home but libreoffice is missing some critical stuff that frustrates me greatly (which I rambled about somewhere in my post history a while back)
