I'm looking for a new laptop for work and realised that all the programs I use also run on Mac OS. I can't find a windows laptop (within the same price range) that is as thin/light, with such good battery life.

Only problem is that everytime I've had to use Mac OS on someone else's computer, I've hated it.

    Do you have to buy things for your job? Maybe you can get your employer to pay for it. As for Mac OS, I think it's a small hurdle to get used to it. And since apple computers basically use IBM compatible hardware now you can choose the OS you want. Or just save some money and use the one you have

      It'll primarily be for work, but I'm planning to pay for it myself and take it with me when I leave this job
