No shit posting here, just some authentic feeling. Our two kids, 1 and 4 years old, got their first Covid vaccines yesterday. We went to Dairy Queen afterwards to celebrate. What a relief! I’ve been saving to take them on a fun vacation once they are fully vaccinated.
I was really surprised how easy it was to get an appointment. I guess there isn’t that much demand, which is great since that means Covid can stick around and keep mutating for even longer!
Anyone else get their little ones vaxed?
I'm planning on it, but I'm not too optimistic that it'll make much of a difference with BA4 and BA5.
No, but I'd like to. Were you able to go to a pharmacy chain and do it or did you have to go to like a clinic?
Congrats!!! Kiddo got vaxxed last year right when the first kid approved vaccines rolled out. Gonna get him his booster at the pediatrician this friday. Also planning a small vacation end of summer! 2 semesters of virtual kindergarten, 1 of first grade, and then a slow but ultimately successful easing in to in person learning later...the last two years feel like at least 5 all rolled into one.
