There seems to be a lot of community spread already, and it's almost certainly more widespread than anybody realizes. It's been detected in kids in several countries in Europe already. It's mainly spread through physical contact, but can also be caught from contaminated surfaces (wash your hands and don't try on clothes at the store) and respiratory droplets. The CDC is downplaying the risk of respiratory droplets, even though it's real and masking would obviously help on that front. But also wear a mask because our dumbass response to covid is letting billions of people get infected and is creating immune escaping variants faster than our vaccines can keep up with.
