literally any site that allows you to communicate with people can work

like always you're fighting an uphill battle. Why make that battle even MORE uphill with a site that uses downvotes to amplify the westoid bazingabrained echo chamber?

Twitter or even 4chan is better than reddit for political discussion (still both trash in absolute terms though), because the power of the herd is less magnified.

It's good that you think that, but at the same time, any political opinion I post on reddit has a 100% chance of being buried by downvotes

Any post I make on 4chan is visible to all, although I do have a high chance of getting banned by malding mayos. But they still haven't permabanned me, which is more than I can say for reddit

lmao THAT'S the problem you have with 4chan? Instead of everything fucking else?

anyway, the only political discussion I'd have on reddit is if I were PMing people and telling them to come here. Or just posting on r/sino (somehow not banned yet lul)

To each their own but I just disagree. 4chan is a great website, the only problem is 4channers.

It's way easier to use than any other social media site since it's not screenname-based (they still know your IP tho) and there's hardly any settings (aside from saging a thread you don't like, but I don't waste time on that)

It's better to have a strong space for our own circlejerks and maintenance and good vibes.

Going into hostile spaces and trying to do your shit just doesn't work.

that it kinda sucks to be cut off from the ability to ask a large group of people questions you might not be able to find the answers to elsewhere

then just use an account and never talk about politics, and only use it for stuff that's absolutely constructive and useful (tech support, IDing a mushroom, finding out which cell phone service is best, etc)
