As someone who used to troll Stormfront for fun back in the day

I saw shit on Reddit that makes Stormfront look like Babytown

It speaks for itself when the frontpage is loaded with some version of "Look at this scary black man get shot by a hero cop" or "Loudmouthed cooze gets what's coming to her"

Not to mention the very nature of the site pushes for censoring of "unacceptable information" which allows them to basically control the narrative on whatever issue they want to

Reddit has an insane amount of casual racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, classism, and just about every other shitty, abhorrent form of chudiness you can think of, right in the open and getting heavily upvoted. It's a site that can really distort any decent person's perception of humanity. It can turn the most trusting person into a diehard misanthrope quickly. The site needs to be avoided at all costs. I would prefer it to just not exist at all.

Every single time I go to my local subreddit I end up scream-typing at people for being fashy shits. The latest one was "hundreds of kids are fighting and smoking dope in the halls so they have to show us their student ID to use the restroom or else they can just piss themselves" and like, that's child abuse, and I'm pretty sure it's a human rights violation, and it's just sick, but I'm the asshole because "THEY'RE FIGHTING AND SMOKING THE JAZZ CABBAGE HUNDREDS OF THEM!!! WE HAVE TO HUMILIATE CHILDREN AND MAKE THEM HOLD IT UNTIL THEY GET BLADDER INFECTRIONS YOU ASSHOLE!"

Every local subreddit is full of the most suburban white dad kind of guy you've ever seen

Local subreddits are the homes of cops, landlords, kulaks, and suburban whiners who have never set foot in the subreddit's namesake.

It went beyond casual, they had a racist subreddit so racist I refuse to name it.

"Casual racism implies the existence of competitive racism."

Inter right in fighting is competitive racism. “Jamie, pull up the story about the nazi who stabbed his nazi roommates over a racism argument” (no shit, it’s real)

Wasn't that Atomwaffen and the guy converted to Islam, and his buddies/roommates, also in Atomwaffen, refused to "respect his decision" which lead to him stabbing them?

I forgot about that one. There have been multiple with names that are explicitly racist it seems

The abhorrent shit they casually post about Romani people on there makes me nauseous
