Unsightly slaughterhouses are also placed in low-income communities, and these poisonus particulates create high rates of asthma, pneumonia, cancer and COPD, for example.
Slaughterhouses also increase the rates of depression, PTSD, repetitive strain injuries, and violent crime including sexual assault in these local low income communities.
