yea back when this happened, about 2016/7 i think, i used to watch his vids with griffin mcelroy a lot like carboys and their anamanaguchi vid. I fell off listening to mcelroys as well not too long after that but i remember they distanced from him quickly
If i remember correctly he was inappropriately hitting on devs and stuff, using his access to them as a journalist. Idk hopefully he learned from it.
I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly they distanced themselves from Bean Dad.

I didn't know for a while (don't follow video game news at all) until I saw something pop up on reddit randomly and then stopped watching him. Not a huge loss...his entire ouvre is stretching 10 minutes videos into 1 hour ones by going intro excruciating narrative detail about shit that doesn't matter and then repeating all those details at least three times over the course of a video. Even at 3x speed the information density is lower than your average Twitch stream.
