I've been to some areas where the walking trails have recently been taken over by mountain biking* and it's really fucking annoying.

This is only semi-related, but I hate urban sprawl for killing so many motocross circuits. A motocross circuit is built out in the middle of nowhere. Years later, urban sprawl consumes the wilderness, and the new residents complain about the noise from the motocross circuit. The circuit is shut down.

I saw a video of a guy that almost got hit by a car the other day. He saw it coming and in his panic he ran directly towards where it was very obviously careening into the sidewalk.
