I used to think that people were rational people, but then I realized that a lot of people are just flat-out terrible and fly into a tantrum at being made to think about the consequences of their actions, or the idea that other people are better than them. That is the locus of "owning the libs", leftists are better people than them, they are malformoid cancers on the world and they HATE IT when we hold up the mirror.

They don't hate you, they just hate you being right.
