    Tons of indigenous societies didn’t count babies as human until their first birthday. Before then it was acceptable to get rid of them. Because easy abortion wasn’t always possible and sometimes women gave birth to kids that they wanted to abort but couldn’t. Or because famine periods coincided with the birth of the baby and they didn’t have any food for it. Or for whatever reason, Etc etc
