Biden winning was still better, because (a) otherwise the loss would have been blamed on the left, and (b) now libs get a four-year course in how shit most Democrats are. It's also better to take the long road deeper into fascism because at least that gives the left more time to organize, and it'll help get some of the most obstructionist libs out of power simply by virtue of them dying off.
Libs will still be decently outraged at DeSantis if he's elected -- look at how they were under Bush II.
The alternative to trying to get them to learn is essentially giving up, at least for the foreseeable future, so we have to try something.
There are tons of reasons why someone might figure it out now, too:
They're personally doing worse now than they were before.
They weren't alive/politically active before.
They reach their limit on trying the same thing and getting the same results.
They see a growing left wing of the Democratic Party that hasn't really been there since the 70s.
They see a few good things happening (improved rights/representation for the LGBT community, serious steps to winding down the war on drugs, the spike in union activity) and figure out that the libs saying those were politically infeasible are full of shit.
Someone close to them figures it out and slowly brings them along.
Sure, but Biden won. Persuadable aren't going to buy that the left was the problem with Biden when he's actually in office -- they didn't even buy that Sanders was the problem in 2016 because he went out and campaigned for Hillary.

If they didn't learn from Carter, Clinton, or Obama, why would they learn from Biden?

Also, Biden is markedly less popular than Clinton or Obama with the libs
Libs still insist the left didn’t :vote: hard enough for their liking, nothing would change that
