In evil gommunist china, the government assigns a social credit score to every citizen and watches their every move through cameras and stuff

Meanwhile we have verifiable proof the US spy’s on its citizens and I can’t get a house because a bank came up with an imaginary number that is too low for their imaginary scale

so instead of a house, you're stuck paying a higher rent then you would've for a mortgage. Because apparently that's do-able. craziness.

My "favourite" aka the one I hate the most, is every take about how "In China they won't help a stranger on the street because they will get sued for it".

Not only is that of course a story you hear frequently in the states or literally anywhere(plus in the states you will get people begging you to not help them by calling an ambulance), but the actual story this myth was originally based on, as far as I've been able to read about it, the "good samaritan" was sued because he originally pushed the victim over before trying to assist(wish I could recall where I read it though so I could link).

Bystander syndrome/apathy towards others is not a local cultural thing.

Communist China has the largest prison population of the world, the majority of which is made up of racial minorities charged with spurious or exaggerated crimes. Their constitution explicitly allows slavery and forced labor for prisoners, who are usually paid less than 6% of the national minimum wage, and even those meagre earnings are drained by high prices for basic amenities like toiletries as well as garnishment for victim restitution funds. This undergirds the nation's society—many schoolchildren across the nation unwittingly sit at desks made by forced labor. The regime even admits that without this slave workforce, entire cities would collapse!

Oh shit nvm wrong country haha

In North Korea they worship their leader as a kingly godhead, but in the US the Capitol has a fresco called "The Apotheosis of Washington".

In authoritarian Cuba they kidnap people from the other side of the world and hold them indefinitely without trial

From the US, where tens of millions of people are malnourished and we have literally never tried to give people enough medicine:

In Totalitarian Cuba, people don't have enough food or medicine :jeb:

In East Germany the state security apparatus routinely read all the mail, monitored all movements in and out of the country, harassed people for their political actions, and imprisoned prisoners of conscience. This is meaningfully different from the behavior of the US and it's allies.
