    Reposting a comment I made in the mega a little while ago about this new very real not terminally online ideology:

    So the “patsocs” are now “mecha-tankies” lmfao

    edit: I subjected myself to parts of a three hour video, and will list the highlights of this intelligent™ new ideology™:

    • Yelling, that seems to be a big part of it
    • The truckers and farmer protests are the real proletarian movement because they drive machines–this is key to the whole “mecha” thing
    • Takes the side of China in the sino-soviet split
    • “vibe shift” as cultural revolution
    • Making the “Wandering Earth” story into reality for inexplicable reasons
    • The color green will be outlawed for 10 years
    • The forests will be set on fire
    • Oil is infinite, which is true because you simply repeat the phrase
    • Mecha is the opposite of anime pfps
    • Debates that are just telling the other party they are dumb
    • Lots of r slurs

          Nothing China did after the split changes the fact that they were absolutely the correct side to take at the time of the split.

              Are we really going to have a "Khrushchev was right" struggle session? Obviously China's foreign policy was bullshit. The fact remains that the Soviets pushed them away and were in the wrong for the split.

                  :yikes: but I don't think that's a typical opinion around here. Most people I've seen here are (correctly) anti-Beria. However, many alternatives being worse doesn't make Khrushchev any less wrong.
