Gonna CW this because it's just generally distressing

    spoiler

I remember on the day Aaron Bushnell self-immolated, some Twitter page added his name to a list of martyrs that included, for that day, a 60 day old baby named Muhammad al-Zayegh who died of starvation. 60 days old. He was born into and died during a genocide.

Babies are starving all over the world, I know (Yemen immediately comes to mind), but the context of this one baby in particular just got to me. Just this poor thing that was born to suffer for no reason and die two months later from something entirely preventable. The utter devilry of these fascist animals who continue to perpetrate this slaughter and celebrate it and victimize themselves is nauseating.

do starving children take up hospital beds that could be used by injured people? or are there different hospitals? lots of heartrending pictures, not many details

I mean, where the hell do you think energy for cooking food goes to, now that electricity's been cut off from Gaza..

For all I know, that energy could mostly prioritized in mass shelters and Hospitals

I mean, fill in the details if you want... but that's my thought

There's no way to know, it's like asking which got which bunks in the Nazi's work camps. It's a genocide nonetheless, almost nothing anybody does during it who's a victim of it can be blamed. Efficiency is unattainable when you're the target of genocide, only individual survival.

Well maybe because you're not actually looking for any details? Anyway, it's neither here nor there because the IOF has systematically targeted hospitals such that the entire medical system has essentially been in a state of collapse for months at this point. Currently, there are reportedly over 30,000 people in the Al-Shifa hospital complex as it is under attack by the IOF.
