The thing I like most here is the repeated use of the word 'drug addict' in way that makes it clear that the rich understand and like the idea that the social narratives around addiction function to create an underclass whose treatment can be justified by the fiction that their circumstances are the result of a defect of volition that makes them unworthy of society's protection.

It doesn't help that there's a reason why it's is literally called "LOUD". The most harmless drug out of all of these and yet it's the only one that stays in your system long enough to fail a drug test and every time you smoke it you might as well scream 'I'M DOING DRUGS, EVERYONE"
