            Word. I've also been thinking about the pattern.

            It kinda goes: Down on luck person Someone notices Does something for them Person happy (still enslaved)

            So I'm wondering if we could find people to use by starting from someone in a communist country that accomplished something and then working backwards through the steps to their family that was helped by the revolution... ya know like one of the doctors that contributed to the Cuban cancer vaccines. Stuff like that.
