I live in a "super walkable" metro with "great public transit". I can easily walk for miles without a single trash can, let alone a place to sit down (I'd have to go out of my way to find one). "Public services" in America are barebones, and so-called leftie cities are dominated by an anti-homeless lobby that is insistant on making life in public unpleasant as fuck, regardless of your housing.
