Sometimes I catch my cat sippin on my water bc she's too damn lazy to go downstairs to her water. Honestly human mouths are disgusting as hell if you're obsessed with germs, probably not all that much different if your pet gets a couple licks in.

On the other hand I am very against sharing food with pets, if only on the principle of not training your pets to eat human food. Like my roommate lets her cat lick her popsicles and then he tries to come at my food and it's not ok. My own cat starts thinking it's ok behavior and I'm lucky she hasn't gotten really bad
