I do enjoy One Piece but I’ve only read till the end of Alabasta (so finished 217 chapters thus far)

Very cool, Alabasta is peak early one piece. It reaches places I never expected, and the current arc being published is peak.

dressrosa is probably my favorite arc overall, and it is basically alabasta 2. a lot of the same themes but explored more thoroughly. i'm super glad to hear from you comrade.
