    This just goes to show that they are only interested in protecting American jobs, not actually helping the environment. Besides, American workers are already struggling to make ends meet, and now they're being asked to compete against workers in China who are paid pennies per hour.

      Minimum wage in China is like 12RMB which is not great but actually liveable considering the low cost of living outside tier 1 and 2 cities and factory workers tend to make decently above that. Although I'm sure there are cottage industries where the effective wage is lower, battery factory workers are not part of them lol.
