Our 125 foot/40m long rope just barely reached the bottom when it opened up. we think it leads into an abandoned mine

    Someone in the YouTube comments said it looks like a borehole that failed because it hit a cave. I think that rod is part of a drill bit that like, fell off because it was just hanging. Or something.

        Not for water wells, or at least not in my neck of the woods. There are still guys using dousing rods to "find" water.
