Days without cis nonsense: zero internet-delenda-est

Dutch darts star Noa-Lynn van Leuven, who had previously lost to Fallon Sherrock, eked out victories in both women's and open competitions in the past week, becoming the first woman to do so.

Several people, including a former tennis player have said it was unfair, although failing to come up with any good reason. Two of van Leuven's teammates have left, apparently upset with not losing. One dart player complained about "transgenders" in the sport, but assured us that they were good blokes, don't worry.

Fallon Sherrock has not commented on the matter, saving herself from the fate of Bethany Hamilton.

This is awesome, because darts, of all sports, cannot possibly have a meaningful gender divide, so everyone is showing their goddamn ass with this bullshit. Well done Ms van Leuven! Glory is yours eternally!

“Never believe that [transphobes] are completely unaware of the absurdity of their replies. They know that their remarks are frivolous, open to challenge. But they are amusing themselves, for it is their adversary who is obliged to use words responsibly, since he believes in words. The [transphobes] have the right to play. They even like to play with discourse for, by giving ridiculous reasons, they discredit the seriousness of their interlocutors. They delight in acting in bad faith, since they seek not to persuade by sound argument but to intimidate and disconcert. If you press them too closely, they will abruptly fall silent, loftily indicating by some phrase that the time for argument is past.”

Anti-trans sports rhetoric is especially ridiculous in the case of chess and darts, and can hopefully be used by trans activists to inoculate people against gender fascism. You really cannot get better evidence that sport terfs simply want to exclude trans people from all of social life. These stories lay this bare. Of course the transphobes are so high on their own fascist gender ideology that they don't recognize they're making a strategic mistake by fighting these specific battles. Usually the cis will play along with them, but eventually it just becomes too ridiculous to take seriously unless you've completely succumbed to their ideology.

I propose we all follow me in continuing to not care about darts. It sounds like 50% of competitive darts players were included in the story so far. Fallon, van Leuven, and the other 2 darts players should go have a beer. They can care about darts and the rest of us will simply watch some other slop.
