I'm traveling for work and hearing a lot of Fox News while waiting in hotel lobbies. The current memes are that there is a 2 tiered justice system and that the FBI has been politicized, both of which are of course true, but not in the way people seem to think.

I'm eternally naive. Despite daily reminders that I live in a sea of shitheads, I'm always blown away with each new example. I just can't imagine being an adult that learns about injustice for the first time and then thinks the people with the greatest material comfort and security are the victims. These very in touch with physical reality people are the same that will call a communist an unreasonable and unrealistic idealist.

For one, the Christian prosperity gospel is infecting even mainstream Christian denominations now.
I've never met so many conservative folks who think they are upper middle class that make less than the median wage in my area.
