In the 23 years that Leopold II ran the DRC, an average of 652,000 Congolese were killedannually; at 54,347 monthly or 1,811 every day!

And as far as I know they've never done anything to meaningfully fess up, let alone atone.

Also when they left Congo they quite literally stripped out the copper wires out of the buildings.
