Anyone lucky enough to live in one of these themselves?

cool, although it seems quite generous with what it calls 'walkable'

Jesus Christ half of my city including my apartment is included and that is just not true by any reasonable metric.

The nearest grocery store is 2.5 miles away! They say the metric is if you have services within a 10 minute walk, the only thing within a 10 minute walk is a fucking Texaco, am I supposed to live exclusively on beef jerky and those tiny cups of cereal they sell at gas stations?

I zoomed in to the one on my city, and in addition to the downtown area (that you have to drive to to be able to walk around in) they have circled a bunch of random shopping areas (that you also have to drive to to be able to walk around in). I can't believe I've lived a short drive away from such vibrant urbanist town centers this entire time!

This works ok as a first-order metric. Yes it's too inclusive, but it does a good job of filtering out the truly awful stuff, and everything we'd consider actually walkable is indeed included there.

Just add another inclusion condition (or two) and it would be in a great state!
