The map is the same in that it's the same environment. Mountains, villages, etc. are in the same places, but there are changes everywhere and a litle more detail overall. So you'll know where things are in a broad sense but things are quite different over short distances. Also there are caves now, and an entire underworld to complement the sky islands.
