I started. Haven't finished. The divorce really seems to have fucked him up. Brett has seemed a bit off in the past year. Been listening since like 2017 at this point. Same, I hope he is able to find some peace.

Yeah people have been saying that on the subreddit too. Brett responded to a few threads, it sounds like he's still figuring things out:

i haven't listed to SF in a little bit and i know we/I make fun of podcasting almost as a rule, but it seems like a draining gig if you're just on there being honest with people and trying to earnestly process through current events, events in your own life and their painful intersections.

there's a reason the big TV/radio pundit personalities are basically crafted fictional characters with writers feeding them talking points. it's a hell of a lot easier to play a one dimensional character with surface level takes than to do what these people are doing for a fuckload less material security.

i listen to trillbillies pretty regularly and the eps/discussions around the events after the recent catastrophic flooding in southern/central appalachia clearly take an emotional/mental/psychic toll.

He's clearly going through it RN. Relatable after the last couple years tbh.. Thankfully he's got Bryan and some family around.
