Saint Row sold just fine and will sale fine again once it hits Steam. G*mers are so stupid., i personally don’t enjoy it because it Feels like an open world game from 2017 and not in a good way. I can see a world where that could work, but the execution in this game lacks any creative ambition. The writing is particularly stale and not crude in a charming way like previous installment. I’ve played all of the saints row games and even agents of Mayham and I have to admit it buggy and lackluster game do you and simple. If I were to describe it in one word I would simply say “uninspired”. The “SJW are ruining XYZ thing” trope is so wack and played out it’s so annoying it still gets you clicks. SR:Reboot sucks because it’s technically unsound and creatively lazy, not because it has more inclusive ideals.

My friend got a review copy and I got to play it front-to-back and it's not a "bad" game exactly, but it's just "astoundingly okay" at best and "conceptually under-cooked" at worst. The character creation felt good, but that was the only highlight of the game for me. It just felt like a game that didn't have a creative framework other than "Let's do Saints Row in 2022", and while that's a fun idea, it's not a game to me. I cannot stress enough how the G*mers are stupid to think that "SJW" (what is this 2009? grow-up you dweebs) ruined the game, the lack of a good game ruined the game.
