My man just styling on europe:
America’s allies in Europe are desperate for alternative supplies of fuel amid the Ukraine war, and U.S. producers are happy to provide what they can. So wouldn’t you know the Biden Administration now wants to limit fuel exports.
They WERE doing that. Fuck you and your gas USA, we're going to keep running record surpluses and refuse to bring them down to a fair level, we're going to keep importing Russian gas forever. Why do you think the USA provoked Russia into invading Ukraine? Nordstream 2 was just about to be connected. Now it's a dead letter.
None of those things required Europe to sanction Russia. Europe doesn’t sanction literally any country the Americans don’t like (albeit, it’s pretty fucking close), so there was literally no need for those sanctions. You could have opened Nordstream 2, and kept importing Russian energy and let the Americans collapse their own shit under the strain of financialization.

You kidding me? Europe runs a massive trade surplus with America. They can easily afford it. They just don't want to.
The goal of trade is to trade an equal amount of goods such that both parties benefit. This obviously isn't happening in Europe, they make money hand over fist with America. This was a golden opportunity to set things to rights and balance things out.
The tankers should have set sail years ago. That opportunity wasn't just squandered, it was thrown away with laughter and general approval of all of Europe in rejecting the American plan. That ship has sailed, and now Europe is going to have a very cold and dark winter.

You realize that Europe trades these dollars for anything that they would want to buy? For example, a lavish welfare state? And then has the nerve - the fucking nerve - to shit on America because we don't have one. Yeah maybe if we profited $60 billion a year from trade with Europe we could afford to have some nice things. But no, it's the other way around; Europe gets the massive cash infusion and Americans get stuck with the bill.
You say it's not a problem? OK, let's switch: America sells Europe the goods and gets paid $60 billion a year. Oh, suddenly it doesn't sound like such a good idea, eh? Europe can't afford that!
