Former president Donald Trump disseminated on social media on Friday an image of President Biden with his hands and feet tied and his mouth gagged, the latest example of the Republican candidate’s use of increasingly violent rhetoric and imagery this campaign season.

The image can be seen about halfway through a 20-second video that Trump posted on his Truth Social site. The post says it was recorded Thursday on Long Island, where Trump traveled this week to attend a wake for a recently killed police officer.

In the video, two trucks decorated with giant Trump flags and altered American flags are driving on a highway. On the tailgate door of one of the trucks is the image of Biden lying horizontally, bound and gagged.

Trump has a history of sharing and promoting violent images featuring his perceived enemies.

Just complete gibberish, socialism's goal is the abolishment of capitalist property relations and worker ownership of the means of production

Liberalism in 99% of its political and theoretical formulations absolutely does not want those things, you're the definition of an opportunist and utopian idealist, further proved by the fact you're willing to sacrifice this make-believe ideology of yours in the hope of courting fascists

If things don’t turn around for him, he might have to lower himself to try to get votes from non-Republicans.

but I will forgo any of my liberal socialist ideals

In support of him or against him?

if Biden wants to do whatever it takes to get votes from republicans.

Ok, monkey's paw granted... he does a peace negotiation with Russia on Ukraine and then promptly declares a 2nd war, now on Mexico, Fentanyl, China, Venezuela, and Cuba, because why not?

I swear, y'all dems practice democratic centralism, don't ye? Freedom of thought, unity in action....

Doesn’t everyone want to declare war on that?

if he declared war with them (which a president is technically unable to do)

This would be a worthwhile comment in 1950. Today, it just looks like you are clinging to what your high school civics class taught you like it has any bearing on the world.

I don’t know why you’ve thrown fentanyl in there. Doesn’t everyone want to declare war on that?

Idk, I mean it's something every republican detests.... even if they know how the first war on drugs's consequences.... (yk, fentanyl actually has broader medical use, specifically as a legal anesthetic and palliative care, so be wary when fishing the waters with it)

Otherwise, do republicans want war with these countries so much that they’d vote for Biden if he declared war with them (which a president is technically unable to do)?

Yaasss, btw, I guess you haven't heard of hyperbole....

To add upon this, I've heard congress is the only power that can declare war... and, I mean, considering Republican mindset... you can easily get a bi-partisan approval for declaring war on one of those countries

Note: I guess you see me as a bad-faith arguer?

Our own country is literally falling apart, not due to war but because people keep voting on one issue they currently feel strongly about.

definitely, voters caring very strongly about not doing genocide is why this democracy is falling apart.

The adults in the room are praying for the US to collapse and balkanise ASAP. Even if Biden wins, the best case scenario for the world is for the US to die. Even if the Dems win the next 10 consecutive elections in a row, the US deserves to die.

Your country is an experiment based on "Hey what if we don't want to pay taxes to the British but are ok with building on stolen land with slave labour for the purposes of (some) white guys getting the ability to get extremely rich???"

Its a failed experiment. The best argument against the existence of a just god is that your nation has not been smote out of existence by the hand of the divine.

Tomorrow, if every politician, businessman and government agent that dictates how your country is run got amnesia, and every reference and memory of your laws, your wretched constitution and how your government operates magically erased from existence, I have no doubt in my body that the ensuring nation(s) that spring up in its place will be not only better for the citizens, but better for the whole world.

It would have fewer children gunned down in places where they should be safe, fewer people dying from rationing insulin, fewer people selling their plasma just to not die from exposure, fewer minorities and family pets executed by agents of your government in the street, fewer citizens poisoned by plastic and lead in their water, and fewer people half a planet away murdered by your troops or your bombs.

A better future is possible, but it's not from festering like maggots the the corpse of your dying empire.

                      P.s.: Free Palestine.

What you're experiencing isn't difficulty understanding our gymnastics. We're not doing any. Genocide is one of the most horrible and evil things humans can do, and Joe Biden is making it happen. Therefore voting for him is tantamount to doing one of the most horrible and evil things humans can do. You're having difficulty with your own gymnastics, twisting yourself up trying to justify why you're voting for a holocaust.

I guess Americans just don’t give a shit about America anymore. And it’s really fucking sad and frustrating.

                      And here's why I don't:

1000+ Black bodies, sent to the morgue by cops in this nation per year since 2012. This nation still lynches just as many Black folk as it did during Reconstruction, they just changed how it's done. Here's why I don't: prison slavery, for the Black folk who get lucky enough to not get murdered in the streets by sociopathic Anglo-Saxon (from here on: settler) 'police'. Here's why I don't: concentration camps at our southern border, for the refugees of Global Southern countries that we ruined in the first place by pumping them flush with guns and terrorists to depose leaders our sociopathic leaders 'don't like'. Here's why I don't: Tacit Amerikan support of genocide; in Donetsk, in Luhansk, in Libya, in Syria, in Afghanistan, in Palestine. Here's why I don't: You cosign all of it; you and all your other Democrat stoolies. You'd cosign it in Leningrad, Beijing, Havana, and Pyongyang too; if only you could reach.

Hell, you'd cosign it in Atlanta, in Chicago, in Minneapolis, and in Compton; and I KNOW YOU WOULD from the way liberals talk about the RICO-charged Cop City protestors.

Why the fuck would I want to save the country that enslaved my ancestors, imprisons my relatives where it doesn't kill them, and sits there and leers in my face with intent to gaslight me into believing they're not the enemy? Death to the settler; death to his empire.

I am a one-issue voter, is the thing: I will not vote for a genocidal CRACKER. If the other genocidal CRACKERS that comprise this nation continue failing to find whatever morals they claimed to espouse all those years they were teaching me about the Holocaust, then they deserve whatever happens to them afterwards. These are not my peers, my countrymen, nor anyone I consider worth saving. You deserve to watch the erosion of all your ancestors' ill-gotten gains.
