    something like 8 of the 10 Republicans who voted to prosecute Trump for January 6th lost their primaries, including Liz Cheney. The party instantly bows to anything Trump wants and yet Democrats will still try appealing to imaginary anti-trump conservatives.

      It's not that they don't exist: they do. It's just that temporarily they're down on their luck. But RINOs aren't going anywhere. They have institutional power and are not easily gotten rid of. They'll be back. They have nothing to do with American Republicans, power is their master. They're just really good at being politicians and fooling people, doing focus groups and coming up with a message that voters will fall for, that sort of thing.

      It's like professional carpenters building furniture vs. Trump's people who watched a bunch of DIY videos on Youtube and bought a table saw they keep in the garage. One will still be making finely crafted furniture 20 years from now while the other will have long since been shoved out of the business.
