I stepped on nail recently. It was pretty much fine, it cut into the heel where the skin is very tough so there was no bleeding at all. But then the wear and tear of walking started to strip the tough outer layer of skin away from the edges of where it was cut and now I have a ½ square inch (in insane american units) patch of skin ON THE BOTTOM OF MY HEEL that is tender and fragile like extremely sunburnt skin. This would not have happened under communism.
