I don't know of any specifics off the top of my head but shooters have definitely had their postings / manifestos / videos they shared on 4chan used in court

the more relevant question is, why is the FBI not interested in using 4chan to stop shooters proactively
maybe they want the culture war tension to be kept high, maybe the FBI is just chock full of weird right wing mormons who just don't care about targeted minorities, but whatever it is it definitely seems like allowing this shit to happen is fine by them
It's almost like 4chan creates the conditions to create random outbreaks of violence to keep the general populace afraid of each other, just randomly or "stochastically"
