Bullying Maine lobstermen is cool and good.

This is a piece I wrote which gets a little into the economics of Maine, in particular its lobster industry. A consumer advocacy group in California recently advised people not to buy Maine lobster due to the industry threatening the very existence of the right whale, and Maine lobstermen—every one of whom is petite bourgeois—reacted like a bunch of crybabies. My piece also makes fun of them relentlessly because they are by far the worst people who have ever walked the Earth.

This account is an alt I'm using because if any of these people find out who I am I will be lynched. As proof, I recently joined the Bug-Eating PMC Karen Caucus at my local DSA.

I might write a followup and have some questions for you in the future. My anger is directed against licensed lobstermen, not the people forced to work for them (by dire economic circumstances and purposeful underdevelopment) like yourself. Thank you for speaking up.

Of course. Cool to see something so close to me being looked at critically through a leftist lense. Keep it up and great writing !
