I'm looking for interesting stories to listen to for long periods of driving. I've got plenty of podcasts/essays/talks loaded up but I'm also looking for YouTube vids that are good as audio only. I know some of you got really obscure interesting stuff. Hit me.
Not obscure but people narrating SCP entries, though the format is a bit difficult to pay attention to on longer stories. I think the big one is The Volgun on YouTube, but there's also The Exploring Series, which does summaries of interconnected SCPs if you like the lore.
There's also people that narrate r/nosleep stories on YouTube, which are creepypasta, so quality varies wildly, but it's generally fun and easy slop. I like Dark Somnium and Lighthouse horror.
This one is actually a podcast but is story based: the Magnus archives. From what I listened of it, it's an anthology with a slow overarching story.
These are all horror but it's what I like to listen to while playing vidya :shrug-outta-hecks:
Not obscure, but down the rabbit hole is an interesting series

ted chiang audiobooks, you can find a few free rips of his collections on youtube
black rat inn uploads fantasy audiobooks, I only listen to the D&D forgotten realms stuff, but it has other series, and a lot of novelisations of games lol, only a few hundred views a vid so pretty obscure and as had some forgotten realms stuff I haven't been able to find elsewhere torrents etc
Horror Babble don't think this one is that obscure but they do good dramatic readings of old weird fiction(Lovecraft and his contemporaries and successors basically)
