I think when the white woman realized she was being recorded she claimed the native lady took her phone and everyone immediately took her side even though she clearly could unlock the phone and was videoing.
Rich white people, especially ones older then 40, seem to be unhealthily obsessed with the idea that all non-whites are thieves. My own family (I'm white) still make my jaw drop with the outright racist shit they say. My own mother, who is usually a very sweet person, recently said she cancelled a vet appointment for her dog because the receprionist 'sounded Chinese' and 'probably wouldn't look after the dog properly.' My father rants about 'African migrant gangs'.
Oh, and it I have a problem with any of my families racist shit they call make me feel like I some crazy bleeding heart. It's insane how deeply ingrained racism is in anglo culture.

There's a certain type of white person who will test the water around other white people until they can say the n word, typically within 30 minutes of starting a conversation. It's always "ironic" but we know what that means :fash-bash: . I've had this happen on two separate occasions.
It's especially rich that the worst criminals I know offline, the kind that physically hurt people, the kind that robbed the poor and otherwise ruined lives, were almost all :lmayo: that were obsessed with the hateful fantasy of catching a :us-foreign-policy: "thug" stealing a candy bar then literally getting away with murder in retaliation.
Bleachskins will generalize or essentialize an entire demographic based on a few vaguely negative anecdotes/experiences with members of that demographic
