I think when the white woman realized she was being recorded she claimed the native lady took her phone and everyone immediately took her side even though she clearly could unlock the phone and was videoing.
Rich white people, especially ones older then 40, seem to be unhealthily obsessed with the idea that all non-whites are thieves. My own family (I'm white) still make my jaw drop with the outright racist shit they say. My own mother, who is usually a very sweet person, recently said she cancelled a vet appointment for her dog because the receprionist 'sounded Chinese' and 'probably wouldn't look after the dog properly.' My father rants about 'African migrant gangs'.
Oh, and it I have a problem with any of my families racist shit they call make me feel like I some crazy bleeding heart. It's insane how deeply ingrained racism is in anglo culture.

There's a certain type of white person who will test the water around other white people until they can say the n word, typically within 30 minutes of starting a conversation. It's always "ironic" but we know what that means :fash-bash: . I've had this happen on two separate occasions.

Any update on arrests? I think I remember reading the lady in the video was found, but then saw a post saying one of the men in the mob was punching at her car window
her twitter said the woman was charged but not arrested, and the guy who punched the window wasn't even charged
Idk, I feel like if she used any sort of weapon in self defense (even an improvised one like a brick), she would have been swarmed by the other crackers.

Edit: That was fucking terrifying to watch. I'm luck to have never been chased by a mob like that. The closest I've experience was some hotep guy following me and my dark skin Indian girlfriend for a block or two and shouting threats at us. I don't know if he literally thought she was African American, or if he's one of those people like Tariq Nasheed who thinks everyone with a certain amount of melanin is black. I've gotten into verbal altercations with those type of street preacher guys before, but they never followed me.
