Same shit happens with Glocks. They will try and holster with their finger on the trigger and shoot their leg. Or they will get the gun halfway out the holster and try and pull it the rest of the way out by the trigger.
The reporters of course uncritically repeat everything they say as fact.
Online cop fans: :wojak-nooo: "TRIGGER DISCIPLINE! LEARN TO USE A GUN!!"
Actual cops: :thumb-cop: "Toeblaster 9000 GO!"
Civilians buying glocks makes sense because they're Everywhere and accept optics and flashlights out of the box easiest of any pistol available for civilians.
Cops keep switching their service pistol every 3 years though and wondering why their New Toys don't automatically make them the best shooter in the city though, and it's hilarious.
Buhh buhh butt I bought the shiniest sig in the LEO only case at the gun store. I'm the best sharpshooter nowww pleeaaassee
Nah, military uses sig p320s too now, just with a manual safety.
The P320 is the civilian version of the US Army's sidearm. The Army has been carrying striker fired pistols since 2018.
The the tacticool advantage here of only having a trigger safety is clearly outweighed by everyone shooting themselves lmao
Clearly the problem is that these triggers are way too light. Let's give them really heavy trigger springs so that the cops won't accidentally shoot themselves. They will also make it impossible for them to shoot on-target, but that only puts bystanders at risk so it's fine.
I mean there was the 1 sig pistol that went off if you dropped it wrong so it could be true. But more likely it is just :thumb-cop: being stupid
It was this same model lol
Aside from going back to super heavy DA only triggers there's no way to compensate for cops being dumb as shit. Maybe if they didn't draw their guns a dozen times a day while quaking in fear this would happen less
Technically the P320 has a grip safety and glocks have a trigger safety. The glock issue definitely arises from holstering and unholstering with a finger on the trigger. It really seems like, given the number of negligent diacharges of the the p320 across military, police, and civilian use, that there is a fundamental issue with the way the grip safety functions on these guns. Instead of simply releasing the trigger it causes it to partially activate. Yes, cops are stupid thumbs who can't get real jobs, but I still feel like the P320 is a bad gun and we should tell people who aren't cops, and especially leftists, to steer clear of it.

Buy more glocks for pigs?
Gonna start an NGO with the goal of getting 1lb match triggers for every cop
Criminals have precision weaponry! We can't let our boys in blue be outgunned!
Why do these cops buy guns with only trigger safeties and keep shooting themselves? Surely by now they should realise that the pigs aren't competent enough to use these and go back to traditional handguns with actual safeties
what's funny is Trigger Safety Fans always say ":soypoint-1: it has a lower rate of accidental discharge than pistols with an external safety. it actually makes it more safe! safeties are just superfluous noise that get in the way! :soypoint-2: " and I remember being as young as 14 thinking "It the average shooter doesn't know how to disengage a safety without accidental discharge that's on them not the design."
The holster is the safety. When it's holstered the trigger is blocked. This is how all modern guns work.
Milwaukee porkers are some of the dumbest cops in the entire fucking country, mark my fucking words.
Shouldn't the safety be on while it's holstered?
Not that cops would know that or anything.
