Anything that's not super intense or fast paced (not looking for a shooter game or anything where I've got to be quick, something more chill. Or maybe I'll just start a new run of Disco Elysium again

Edit: thanks so much guys I just woke up to a ton of notifications and there's a lot of great stuff in this thread to try out!

Good point. I'm not above pirating, if anybody has a link or instructions on how to get whatever game for free. Also I should not though I'm playing on Mac

I primarily use IGG-games.com but FYI sometimes files will be flagged for viruses (but the site mods claim it's "false positives due to how games are cracked"). I'm not a tech nerd so I don't know what the truth is, I got nothing for someone to steal though so I just ignore it (and maybe 1 out of every 20 games or fewer I dl will get flagged for malware anyway, most games I've downloaded (and I've downloaded terabytes of shit) have no problem).

The reason I use IGG is because they have direct downloads so you don't have to worry about getting DMCA'd from torrenting. However only the google drive links and the mega.co.nz links are fast (and all the others do annoying popup shit, fake links, etc., that you have to click through like 5+ times to get to the real link and not DL some malware bullshit), and if it's a newer release the google drive links get overloaded pretty quickly

IGG has been in a lot of controversies lately. They are held responsible for shutting down one of the best piracy websites Good Old Downloads by doxing the owner and threatening to call the police on him. On top of that, they add their own DRM in their uploads, which is ironic itself. While IGG releases themselves are not malicious, their actions are the reasons why they go to untrusted list.

idk I guess that's kinda shitty but it's not like I'm giving them money. Idk what they're talking about with DRM though

as long as you're not downloading the latest AAA releases you shouldn't really worry about letters. I've torrented quite a few games without a vpn and haven't gotten any letters that I know of. malware is something I worry about more than the copyright goons, even with a careful eye it's always possible to download a fake loaded with malware.
