In the Behind the Bastards feed, they did 6 episodes starting June 18th this year, doing a deep dive into the history of (mainly US) policing. Very interesting stuff that some folks might not know. Even considering myself pretty knowledgeable on the subject, I learned some things, plus having it all laid out in its horrific totality over the course of 6-7 hours is a powerful thing.
I liked some aspects of It Could Happen Here, but it felt as far fetched as a work by Chris Hedges' predictions of a future where the United States descends into political chaos like Yugoslavia did in its events and civil war that led to the dissolution and collapse of the state.
