New Jersey Police Officer Dies Hours After Jumping into River to Save Burglary Suspect

Officer Sean Peek, 49, was found unresponsive by family members at his home on Sunday morning

You can see the part of the river this took place on Google Maps. It's not exactly a roaring rapid.
