I found that 90% of the people that I knew that were really loud about hating Barney and had lots of vivid violent fantasies about murdering him wound up being fascists post-G!mergate. :surprised-pika:
Damn you're right now that I think about it. It was always that weird kid with odd fixations on different ways to kill people.
I knew a number of them. All but one, one of them became MAGA chuds. Two were at Charlottesville and bragged about it. I can confirm that at least one was at the Jan 6 circus fire. :frothingfash:
thats like saying Rage Against the Machine are imperialist because their music was used without their permission to do the same
it's my understanding one of the reasons id software decided to make modding easy for Doom was because of a popular Wolfenstein 3D mod that replaced some enemies with Barney, so that's kinda cool I guess
honestly his teeth kinda freaked me out as a kid, but the show was cool. positive values about being considerate and nice.
