    they definitely wouldn't have used longbows to clear rooms, longbows are hugely inaccurate and are mainly good because they shoot really far and with a lot of force

      They are not inaccurate at room scale close range. They are however bulky and difficult to use in close quarters plus if you actually held the string drawn all the time like in the video your arm would be dead in 5 mins.
