Still mask here, covid killed my father in law in January, it is not over even though the hopium addicts think it is. I thank every person I see that is masked.
Damn I thought you were my sister's tankie husband for a second. I checked your history, and it's a no.
Pretty sure none of my in-laws would be on this site. Very bougie.
I still N95 everywhere. We ignored the science of climate change at our peril, fuck no I'm not listening to the right-wingers on covid and masking. The masking people IRL are still the best people I know, they actually give a shit about Palestine and the poverty around them.
DM me if you want to hang out on Discord.
I mask whenever I go out and still fucking caught it cos I live with people who don't
Hi yes, I've had similar experiences lately. I really need to get in with local mask blocs or something and build a friend group that's fine with masking everywhere, and even while hanging out.
I'm still here and caring and right there with you wondering if anyone out there still cares. I guess we've got each other. I just wish the people I love and care for also cared. I get treated like I'm insane not just for my covid precautions, but for not doing the things I can't do due to my disability. Things I wouldn't be able to do even if covid didn't happen. It's like covid brought to surface and ableism that mostly existed in hushed terms (and don't get me wrong, that ableism is as old as time, not implying it's a new thing).
Totally get it, friend. Recently had a conversation with one of my close friends who took pretty much had the same level of caution as me, but finally took the line and said he isn’t going to stop living his life, he’s vaccinated, yada yada yada. It’s extremely disheartening.
yeah, let's be friends! dm me if you want to chat using an IM thingy like matrix/discord
